The Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA) in partnership with the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) will host a webinar focusing on Asian/Pacific American mental health and programming. Stigma exists when it comes to talking about mental health for many groups in the Asian/Pacific American communities. This webinar focuses on how to normalize and foster mental health in the AAPI community. Presenters will share strategies, advice and library programming for consideration in how to promote mental health in the AAPI communities and the wellness of AAPI library workers. All attendees are welcome to learn more about various resources to better serve and advocate for their AAPI communities of users when it comes to mental health and wellness. The webinar will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.
