APALA is pleased to announce that Dr. Sarah Park, Assistant Professor at St. Catherine University (St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota), has been appointed to represent APALA on ALA’s Working Group on Diversity and LIS Education. This Working Group will discuss and develop recommendations in the following areas:
- Multicultural Curriculum
- Recruitment and Mentoring of Minority Students
- Recruitment and Retention of Minority Faculty
- Administrative Support for a Multicultural Environment
