Call for Mentors
Interested in helping grow the next generation of library leaders? Consider becoming a mentor! The APALA Mentoring Program is seeking mentors for the 2015-2016 year. Designed to help new and future librarians, the program provides professional and personal development, career coaching, guidance, inspiration and encouragement through a supportive mentoring relationship. Mentoring not only bridges relationships between future and veteran library professionals, but enhances communication and builds leadership in APALA, ALA, and other library associations. Mentors are APALA members who possess at least 3 years professional experience and are active in professional library associations.
