APALA will transition to a new listserv platform on June 1, 2024.
When will this change happen?
- Friday, May 31, 2024 is the last day to use the sunsetting listserv email address: apala-l@lists.gseis.ucla.edu.
- Saturday, June 1, 2024 is the first day to use the new listserv email address: apala-members@apalaweb.org.
How should I prepare?
- Confirm your membership status: All active APALA members will be automatically migrated to the new listserv. You can check your membership status online.
- Hold your messages: For the last few calendar days of May, you are highly encouraged to wait until June 1 to post any messages that request replies or action from your fellow APALA members.
- Review the APALA Listserv Guidelines: the Guidelines remain the same, but this is a good time to refresh your understanding of them.
Add the new listserv email address, apala-members@apalaweb.org, to your email application’s address book and safe senders list.
