Congratulations to Anastasia Chiu! Anastasia just started a new position as Scholarly Communications Librarian at New York University.
Harrison W. Inefuku was recognized with an Iowa State University Award for Inclusive Excellence. Apart from his duties in the library and in the course of his scholarly publishing efforts on campus, Inefuku seeks out ways to advance the mission of diversity, equity and inclusion. Inefuku, who joined the library in April 2012, is the scholarly publishing services librarian. He will be honored at an event that is planned for a later date. Inefuku joined APALA in 2009.
APALA is celebrating its 40th Anniversary! While we will miss celebrating in person, we are launching our $40 for 40th Campaign to increase financial support for APALA’s mission. If you are able, please consider donating $40, $1 for each year of APALA’s work to support Asian/Pacific American librarians and the communities we serve. Learn more here.
